In February 2025, EcoVadis, a globally recognized leader in sustainability ratings, announced its latest evaluation results. Guizhou Tyre, a leader in China’s tyre manufacturing industry, has earned the Silver Medal certification for its systematic ESG strategy, placing it among the top 15% of global companies. This achievement marks a significant leap in the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, following its Bronze Medal ranking (top 35%) in 2023.

The improvement in ratings is a result of Guizhou Tyre’s reforms across four key areas: environmental management, labor rights, sustainable procurement, and business ethics.

The company has implemented a “Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Implementation Plan” and committed to joining the SBTi Science-Based Targets Initiative.

Through these actions, Guizhou Tyre has established a comprehensive sustainability management system throughout its production processes, increasing its score by 10 points from last year.

As a practitioner of international standards such as the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000, Guizhou Tyre integrates social responsibility deeply into its supply chain management.
